a good gift idea relating to photos or just something fun?

My friend is going through a tough time and I would like to boost her spirits by getting her a gift. The only problem is I don't know what to get her. She likes doing things with pictures. She likes editing them and enhancing them. Her favorite thing to do is to make presents for other people and she makes them personal for them with pictures. I want to do the same for her or give her a tool to help her make better presents to give. I don't really want to give her any photo software because I don't know what she already has and I don't know what her computer would be able to take. If anyone has any unique ideas, gift ideas that go along with anything to do with photos, or just something really fun I would greatly appreciate the help. Thanks.

Suggest to her to go to CropMom at http://www.cropmom.com and use her photos and CropMom's graphics to create her own digital greeting card, collage, or scrapbook. She can also add her own text.



She can I either, purchase the print-quality JPEG file of her layouts (it doesn't cost much) and download it to her computer for printing at her favorite photo finisher such as snapfish or shutterfly, or simply download screen quality for free and send it to her friends.



It is fun and easy.

People who give/make great photo gifts are people who LOVE photos. So I think you are on the right track wanting to do something with photos for her.



My favorite suggestion is to get her a digital picture frame and pre-load it with photos for her. Get fun ones from her family, other friends, you collection, etc. Scan in old pre-digital photos to upload, too. Also, you can scan notes, cards, tickets - anything else sentamental - and load those on the frame just like photos. (just save a .jpg and load with the rest - it's easy).



It's personal, it's something she likes, and it will surely make her smile every time she looks at it.

You could make her a calendar with a picture of you or her or both of you laughing and having fun , you could copy a lot of pictures of both of you on a single sheet of paper and use it for wrapping paper for say a small box of her favorite candy and put friends forever on it,
