I'm turning 13 in May. I know it's more than a month away but I need to know what I should do because I will have to save money (for the place, food, etc.) I was thinking of a themed party. But I don't know what the theme should be. If you have any other ideas other than a themed party, please tell me :)

I like::
skateboarding
dinosaurs =P (I know, I know, I'm weird)
video games
SUPER HEROES!
photography
hippie buses (:
shopping
movies

First of all you'll have to decide how many friends you wish to invite to celebrate with you to figure out how much money you'll need. A month is not a lot of time to save up money but that depends on how much money you get either from your allowance (supposing that's your source) or babysitting jobs. I'd think you'd have to be 14 for a job anywhere. That being the case you could think about having a dinosaurs media event i.e. rent all the Jurassic Park movies and watch them all with like minded friends if you can get your parents to agree to this movie marathon. Serve your favorite snacks and of course the birthday cake complete with candles. You could even act out parts of the movies like all the fans of "Rocky Night Horror Show" do.

Or you could round up and rent from Netflix on line all those old classic Dinosaurs movies made about Godzilla that could be fun. (You're not weird for liking dinosaurs many of us have not lost our fascination with them so don't put yourself down about it just because some of your friends aren't into them).

Now a question for you since I'm a retired hippie what do you mean by hippie buses?

Good luck with whatever you decide on but May is fast approaching......

well...your going to be a teenager how cool have a lil party with your best friends maby go shoping with your close friends then go see film and go for a photo shoot, Then go back to your's and have a sleepover and watch some films with super heroes and maby even make some of your own super heroe alfits and take pics of you and your friens wearing them.(it will be a party you and your friends could never forget)

or have a big party with your whole year in your house or a disco

and have some video games around that you and your friends could play (thats what all my friends are doing/have done for they 13th)

Good luke and happy birthday for whenever it is :-)

Go and have a sleepover.

But for that party have a shopping theme with bags and dresses worn.

And Super Heros is it a film then go cinima and watch it with icecream and stuff.

watch a few horror movies.

Rent out a vw camper van and take a few of your friends mountain boarding because it is like skate bording but sooooo much faster and there are really good jumps and it is really easy but not scary at the same time!!! i also recommend go karting beacause that is great fun too!

You put sk8ing on the top of the list. If most of your friends are sk8rs, why not a skate theme, with Tony Hawkes Pro skater game.
