Is March 2nd winter or spring?

March 2nd is my birthday and my manager and I were debating whether I had a winter or spring bday.

Astronomically spring starts with the first equinox of the year, this is around March 21st.



And there is also a phenological spring - depends on the stage of plants (when they bloom etc) but these dates vary more.
