A decorated veteran is an individual who has served their country in the military and has been awarded various medals for their upstanding performance of their duties in military service. A veteran is also honored on the 1th day of the 11th month at the 11th hour...Veterans Day...I stand proud to have served my country, I salute those that are serving now and I salute and thank those who have gone before me.

Someone who has been awarded for their committment to service, their loyalty and courage.

I have no bragging room there, unfortunately. I was loyal and committed but no real place to display it. I was in during somewhat peace time. I did shovel ash in Spokane Washington! = )
